Pastor Middleton

Pastor Joe Louis Middleton comes from a long line of rich Pentecostal heritage. Born the youngest of seven children, he was groomed in the way of holiness by parents who loved God and lived a life of Holiness before him. He is a humble man of God, the beloved husband of First Lady Doris Lee Middleton and the proud father of six children. 

While serving his country as a Captain in the Armed Forces, Pastor  Middleton received the Holy Ghost in March, 1970.  Upon experiencing the life changing power of God, the Lord called him to preach the Gospel later that same year. Pastor Middleton’s ministry was developed under the tutelage of the “master preacher and pastor” – Bishop James A. Johnson of St. Louis, Missouri. Pastor Middleton earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dallas and has been the lead pastor at The City of Life Christian Church since August 2011. 

Pastor Joe Louis Middleton believes in the absolute power of the Word of God, the saving work of the Holy Spirit, the sovereign authority of Jesus’ name and the great catching away of the Saints. To this end, he preaches the Word of God, with a great anointing and passion.
