What the Bible Says About Giving The ultimate example of giving was set by God when He sacrificially gave His own Son (John 3: 6). Jesus continued to be a giving example to us (Eph 5:2). God’s Word teaches us that every good and perfect gift comes from the Lord (James 1:17), and so everything you are blessed with ultimately belongs to Him. You are entrusted by God with stewardship over your finances, resources and time. It is your privilege and responsibility as a believer to be a good steward and give back to God what is His through giving to the church and to others. Good stewardship over our financial resources involves the way we earn, spend, save, invest and give. We want to provide our members and others with a convenient way to give to the church. We want it to be secure and easy, and so we are pleased to offer online giving. We believe that online giving, when done in the Spirit of cheerful giving, is pleasing to the Lord. Why use Online Giving? With encryption technology in place, giving online at The City of Life is safe and secure. It is processed by the best e-security available. Online giving reduces the number of checks you have to write, post, and manage. So, whether you are a regular tither that enjoys the convenience of online giving or if you are a partner with this ministry, we have designed our Online giving model to serve you efficiently and effectively. On this page you see a Donate Button below this paragraph. Please click that button. You will be redirected to the giving module. Soon we will have more options for you to choose. In the meantime, please accept a slightly different procedure. When you arrive at the new giving window, we will ask you to input a number into the qty window. This number must not include change. For instance, if your tithes total $243.75, please put 244 in the quantity box. (rounding up to the whole dollar.) The system will convert that number into $244.00. Next all you need to do is verify that the amount you want to give is correct. When you do all you need do then is click the button.
